Our Story Starts in 2012
SilverIslandTv are a creative video production company devoted to producing exceptional work. With a passion to develop creative and engaging video products through decisive planning, filming, post-production or live delivery.
We aim is to help you create engaging stories that connect with your audience and bring your message to life. We use innovative ideas, creativity and prides ourselves on producing high quality video images and great sound.
Specialists in filming events and live streaming, interviews, plus we have a mobile greenscreen studio service covering the whole of the UK. Filming in HD is standard and owning the latest equipment helps us to deliver fast turnaround projects and Live Production vision mixing. We believe in only offering the highest quality film production to our clients so we have invested heavily in the latest technology including industry leading hardware and software from: Adobe, Apple, Dedo, Sennheiser, Sony, BlackMagicDesign, Atomos & Panasonic.
Our approach
We offer that friendly personal touch and tailor our services to suit your needs. We operate throughout the UK but focus on our local county Essex where our office is based. We look forward to using our experience, technical skills and knowhow for your project.
The company was formed by David McDonald and Alexander Brothers who between them have years of experience as filmmakers. We work with you to produce Promotional Films, Training videos, Commercials, Customer Testimonials and capture Live Events. SilverIslandTV can provide the complete corporate video/multimedia production service which includes scripting, storyboard creation, model casting, filming, editing with motion graphics & animation, voice-over recording, royalty free soundtracks and encoding for the Internet.
Meet the Team
Alexander Brothers
Filmmaker, Producer/Director, Cinematographer and Production Sound mixer.
Alex first started making short film and travel documentaries from the age of 16 then eventually worked alongside Dave on numerous corporate and business promotional films. He has over 10 years experience producing and filming a diverse range of projects for SilverIslandTV. Alex enjoys the entire creative process of filmmaking in order to tell meaningful stories that engage and inspire.
When he is not behind a camera you will find him either paddling down a river in a Kayak, hurtling down a mountain with a pair of skis on, hitting golf balls or tending to his extensive Bonsai tree collection.
Dave McDonald
Filmmaker, Producer, Editor & Colourist.
David started working with cameras and computers from an early age, when things were tape and floppy disks. David founded SilverIslandTV after a working in automotive design engineering for some years. He has over 12 years experience producing and filming a diverse range of projects from live event streams to social media shorts.
When he is not behind a camera you will find him either paddling down a river in a Kayak with Alex or flying in a glider.
