A Teleprompter or otherwise known as an Autocue helps you It enables you to craft well-prepared content, nail the presentation, with little to no retakes making your production a faster process. It is an invaluable tool on the production set. Moreover, it allows the presenter speaking to focus on connecting with the audience instead of focusing on remembering their lines.

Any serious news room or production studio, and a teleprompter will be front of the presenter. Why? Because it can make your piece to camera so much easier.

Our Eye-line teleprompter are placed directly in front of a camera’s lens allowing you the presenter to read the script while looking directly into the camera. This camera technique allows you to use direct eye contact to engage the audience. You will never need to look down for to the side to see your notes.

All our eye-line prompters can quickly be adapted on set for “off camera” interview style prompting if needed.

As always, there are a few key things to remember when using a Teleprompter. When using a teleprompter, without proper preparation, you run the risk of appearing unnatural and stiff. So practice is of key importance. A teleprompter is only useful if you tailor it to your speech patterns and your vocabulary. The message may be written for you by someone else, but it must sound like you.

To make the most of a teleprompter on set, you’ll need to have a script ready. This script must be in a digital format such as a Word, Pages or a simple text document. so that you can summarise it into prompts. Once you have done this, share it with your producer to load it into our teleprompter.
